Synthetic turf is often touted as "low maintenance," but low maintenance does not mean zero maintenance. Without structured care protocols, infill compacts, drainage slows down, and fiber wear accelerates rapidly.
Under continuous foot traffic, synthetic fibers bend and flatten in high-use areas such as goal mouths and center circles. Regular cross-brushing pulls infill back into suspension and stands the fibers upright, preserving original resilience.
Over months of heavy use, rubber sand infills settle and harden. Specialized mechanical decompactors gently loosen the infill layer, restoring shock absorption and preventing premature surface hardening.
